Quiet Mind, Steady Heart - A Vinyasa Weekend and Meditation Workshop plus bonus Yoga Sutra Study Group with Rolf Gates
Don't miss this opportunity to study with Rolf Gates at Hot Asana Southern Pines Sept 29-Oct 1, 2023.
Investment $65 per session or Complete weekend $250 which includes 2 bonus hours with Rolf studying the Yoga Sutras.
Join us for a dynamic weekend of Vinyasa, meditation, pranyama and lecture/discussion as we explore the practices that create a life that works. Throughout this weekend, we will dive into the tools of yoga that allow us to stay connected to the truth of who we are as we practice new ways of being in the world.
The yoga will be a synergy of the freedom of a powerful Vinyasa class and the structural integrity of yoga's therapeutic alignment principles. The intensive is intentionally challenging, but open to all who wish to explore yoga as an evolutionary journey. The only 'requirement' is that you show up, do your best and let your best be good enough.
The sessions are intended as a whole weekend workshop, but the sessions may be taken individually. All sessions will be based around aspects of Rolf Gates' Meditations on Intention and Beings: Dally Reflections on the Path of Yoga, Mindfulness and Compassion.

____________
Bonus Yoga Sutra Practice Group add on is available for $50 or is FREE if you purchase the entire weekend.
We can think of yoga poses, breath work, and meditation as the “What” to practice. The Yoga Sutra’s are an ancient practice manual that explains “Why” and the “How” to practice. This training will be a two week (Sept 20th & 27th at 7pm EST) practice group in which we come together to learn, then apply the teachings found in the Yoga Sutra’s to our poses, meditations, and everyday experiences. This will be a chance to deepen our practice while getting to know each other and learn from one another. The sessions will be an hour long on Zoom and recorded so you will be able to review them if you attend or, if you miss a session, you can get caught up. There will also be recorded yoga classes and meditations archived for this group so that you can practice using recorded classes that explore the themes we are learning during this training. Look forward to learning together! - Rolf
