Flow to Yin 75 min
This class begins with dynamic vinyasa flow and then finishes with blissful yin yoga for AMAZING results! Yin yoga is a slow-paced meditative style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time ranging from 2-5 minutes. Yin yoga was developed to penetrate deep into the connective tissue by applying moderate stress to the tendons, fascia, and ligaments. Vinyasa flow yoga is considered Yang yoga and focuses more on Sun Salutations and dynamic strengthening poses or sequences to work on the yang tissues-the muscles, blood, and skin. When combined you will leave feeling truly balanced with an energizing and uplifting first half of class (Yang) followed by a quiet and deeply introspective second half of class (Yin). All levels welcome. *Warm room but below body temperature. ALL LEVELS
Yin
This class uses Yin Yoga's gentle long held postures to bring a feeling of lightness in the body, a deep release of the connective tissue and increasing flexibility and range of motion. 60 min
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing the body and the mind while providing an opportunity to renew and heal. In this practice, you can leave the distractions and stresses of daily life and devote much needed time to restoring your own sense of well-being. Students are situated in simple, comfortable poses on the floor supported with blankets, straps or blocks. Students stay in poses for longer periods of time, allowing gravity to create releases and openings in the body. Not heated.
Hot Vinyasa (60 OR 75 min)
The studio will be heated to above body temperature to allow for a deeper release and to avoid injury. These classes keep you moving! You'll flow continuously through strong sequences of traditional Sun Salutations, Vinyasa flows and standing postures, linking breath with movement and building strength and endurance as you employ balance and flexibility. The instructor is skilled in delivering this type of experience to a multi-level group of students - no previous experience is required. ALL LEVELS
Foundational Flow Warm/Hot
Designed as an introduction to Hot Asana and the practice of yoga, this 60-minute class includes an overview of the types and styles of yoga with instruction covering the basic yoga poses and their alignments. The practice room will be between 85-90 degrees. In class questions are graciously welcomed. * Very Beginner Friendly - ALL LEVELS
Hot Slow Flow (60 OR 75 min)
Just like the name implies, this class is similar to our signature Power Vinyasa Flow, with one main difference, it is SLOWER. You don’t lose the strength or the work, but you do gain more time in poses. This is a great way to learn the poses better and to build a strong foundation in your practice. You will twist and turn, lengthen and strengthen, balance and breathe, all the way to Savasana and a cold lavender cloth at the end. In this class, expect longer holds in poses, more focus on basic poses with some exploration in peak poses, and the music is a touch quieter than our Power Flow, but still motivating (a perfect fit if loud music and fast movement is not what you are feeling!) ALL LEVELS WELCOME! May also be offered warm.
