RYT 200. I started practicing yoga when I moved to NC in 2007 and immediately loved how it made me feel.
When my son was born in 2013, I experienced my first real break from yoga. I was so caught up in caring for a baby, trying to work and volunteer that I forgot to take time for myself and I suffered for it; physically and psychologically. That's when I realized the real value of yoga.
Somewhere in the puddle of sweat on our mats, we're able to find peace and because of that we walk off our mats as a better, truer version of ourselves.
