I played competitive sports up until my early twenties. I then joined the military and saw peaks and valleys in my physical and mental fitness. Over the next couple of years, I suffered many injuries which took me down a notch physically and left me feeling empty. I struggled to find balance in my life and felt demoralized anytime I couldn’t do something physically that I was once able to do. After years of dabbling in yoga, I stepped back onto my mat in February 2018 and never looked back. Yoga found me when I needed it most. I wanted to share the feeling yoga gave me with everyone around me. My path to becoming a teacher came quickly and a few months later I was gifted a scholarship by American Yogi. This came at a point where I began the transition from Active Duty Military to Civilian Life and was one of the greatest gifts I could ever ask for.

In March 2019 I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Hot Asana University with Virginia Gallagher and Lisa Rischitelli and started teaching soon after. Teaching allows me to share my purpose and energy with a group and provide students with a place to look inward, find peace and be present.
