Growing up I competed regionally and nationally as a dancer and went on to perform as a soloist for several ballet companies. However, by early adulthood I found myself attending physical therapy and the chiropractor regularly to keep up with the high demand on my body, while also attempting to recover from undergoing several surgeries due to dance related injuries. It was at this time that I found yoga. I was blown away by the physical and mental healing that it brought me, while still helping me to stay in shape. I eventually made the journey down to Costa Rica where I gained my RYT 200 and have been passionate ever since about sharing just how life changing yoga can be.
