It has been a priority of mine to live a healthy and active lifestyle, and I am equally passionate about helping others discover the same, mind, body and spirit. I’ll admit I am a bit of a nutrition freak, a label reader, and a green juice fanatic. Riddle me a medical, or nutritional conundrum to investigate, and I am all over it! Curating fun yoga classes, events, and retreats set to the sounds of an original playlist energizes me, and I’m a yes for all those moments which turn into movements.

Formally trained 300 hours in Power Yoga, I have spent well over a decade in a variety of yoga training and workshops. I have continuing education and certification in Hands on Assists, Aerial Yoga and Trauma-Informed Yoga. As an E-RYT I have taught well over 2,000 classes and currently hold a Certification as a Health and Wellness Coach with DSWI. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes from Yin to Advanced yoga technique. Most importantly my primary focus is to guide a wide range of clients with individual abilities in a safe and transformative practice during my classes and coaching. It is my mission to speak the language of surrender and acceptance in mind, body, and yoga to various generations through my fun and hands-on approach to teaching.

With my past experience in wellness modalities including dance, somatic movement and massage therapy, I find it melds well with my current approach to teaching. As a Military spouse of 30 years and Mother of two grown sons, I have a passion and devotion to veteran advocacy and mental health awareness. I serve as a volunteer, board member and veteran outreach connector. I find the intersection of these life pillars to be the main driver in my current life’s path.

What a privilege it is to have had the opportunity to teach at a handful of beautiful studios across the country, and for a short duration run a successful one of my own. I am grateful for all the lessons learned along the way and for the amazing friendships I have made that continue to sustain me. Now, I look forward to grounding and building roots and connections in the Southern Pines, Pinehurst area and I can’t wait to meet you on your mat.
