It has been a priority in my life to embody a healthy, playful, and active lifestyle, and after nearly three decades devoted to teaching mind-body practices, I remain deeply committed to empowering others to do the same.
Having immersed myself in various yoga disciplines and mind-body practices, enriched by decades of travel and deep study as a RYT 500 and E-RYT 200, I bring a wide range of certifications and lived experience to my teaching and health coaching. What matters most to me is how the practice lands in real life. Whether in a local studio, within the four corners of a mat, or in a retreat setting, yoga has the capacity to meet people right where they are and open something meaningful.
It brings me great joy to gather people from all walks of life into shared practice. After guiding seven retreats, my biggest takeaway is this: the kind of transformation people seek doesn’t belong to a location. It happens when time, attention, and intention come together. That same spark can happen in a single class, a steady weekly practice, or a moment of insight that changes how someone moves through the day. This is the magic of yoga.
I currently reside in Southern Pines, NC with my husband of 34 years, Joe, and we have two grown sons, both married. Life as a military spouse has deeply shaped me and continues to inform my work beyond the yoga room. I am an advocate for Special Operations Forces operators and their spouses, and I speak nationally for veteran service organizations, with a particular focus on women, intimacy, resilience, and connection within military families. This work weaves together embodiment, communication, and nervous system awareness in service of stronger relationships and whole-person wellness.
I’m deeply grateful for my life experiences and the many connections I’ve made along the way. They continue to shape my teaching philosophy and my belief that yoga, practiced with care and consistency, can support a life lived with greater clarity, resilience, and joy. I can't wait to see you on the mat.
