My yogi journey began over 15 years ago at my local gym and I was instantly hooked by the physicality of it. In the following years yoga would be a remain part of my workout routine. As life took hold, I made a career move to the northeast and found myself living out of a suitcase traveling from city to city trying to climb the corporate ladder. Between the city-hopping I would come to my hometown and one day found myself walking up the stairs to try out new studio on Broadstreet that had something called “hot yoga”.

Instantly I was drawn back to the power of yoga, but this time it was for the mental workout. As my days on the road continued and the airline miles racked up I found myself coming more to my mat not to sweat but yearning for stillness and a sense of grounding. Yet the corporate world pace kept increasing, wearing me down, till finally the universe intervened in what seemed to be a series of unfortunate events.

Three years later I found myself back in my hometown with my husband, both having jumped off the corporate ladder, and enrolling Hot Asana University 200hr Teacher Training. Three months later, I found myself teaching my first yoga class at Hot Asana. The excitement, joy, and gratitude I feel through yoga has truly changed my life and I can’t wait to share my passion with each of you. Namaste.
