Yoga helps me remember who I am. Caring for others is so much easier than caring for myself. This is a recurring theme in my life, with a degree in hospitality and as a massage therapist. With the desire to lead a healthy lifestyle I've explored various avenues of fitness to include leading group fitness classes and crossfit. Yoga brings everything together for me. I am a loving mother of three beautiful kids and a seasoned army wife. My life does not always feel like my own. With yoga, I step on my mat and find myself again. I remember I am everything I want to be. That self rediscovery allows me to be a better mom, partner, bodyworker and instructor.
I've completed my 200 and 300hr yoga teacher training through Yax Yoga Concepts with John and Chris Yax. I've also completed the Empower Movement Advanced Teacher Training with Paige Held and Kelly Green. Additional workshops with Kathryn Budig, Rolf Gates, and Grace Morales. The best part about all of it? Now I get to share it. It's not just for me anymore. I'll see you on your mat.
