Holly O’Donnell, RYT 200

My journey with yoga started in California when I was around 17 years old. I already had a love for movement but was searching for a connection with my body. As soon as I walked into my first class I knew that yoga was what I had been craving. My first teacher transformed her classes into stories, every movement had a purpose, every song was matched to the cadence of the sequence. It was after that class that I realized I wanted to teach yoga. Years later after the birth of my first son I had the opportunity to take my teacher training with Cambio School of Yoga. I have been teaching for 4 years now and have trained with so many amazing teachers that have inspired me along the way. I have also taken some extra courses since my 200 hour training, including courses with Jason Crandell, Bonnie Weeks, Stacy Dockins and Carson Calhoun. I am currently working towards my 300 hour training to become a 500 RYT, as well as continuing my education beyond asanas and vinyasa style teaching. I love teaching functional movements mixed with traditional yoga poses that both challenge your body and mind. I am deeply passionate about empowering my students to find the strength that they already harness and allowing the emotions that they hold to inspire them on their mats.

My classes have an emphasis on functional movement patterns, fun transitions and lots of options to fit individual students abilities and energy levels. My hope is for my students to leave their mats feeling empowered, strong and capable, both in body and mind. When I am not teaching you can find me hiking with my family, running my photography business, weight lifting or grabbing a coffee downtown.
