Denise was first introduced to yoga 16 years ago, as a way to increase flexibility and prevent injuries for her outdoor activities. While the physical benefits were significant, it was the mental and emotional wellness that yoga perpetuates that kept bringing her back to the mat. As a pilot, yoga has been an integral asset to stress mitigation. It has also allowed a practice of living in the moment and gratitude.
Denise completed her 200 hour teacher training with Hot Asana Yoga University in June 2017 and has attended workshops with Shiva Rea.
Through physical cues and guidance, Denise offers a safe physical practice, while also offering space for students to explore the other benefits of yoga.
