I found yoga only a couple years ago as a supplement to my daily CrossFit and distance running workouts. It was a small studio in a strip mall, not very fancy, but after taking my first class I knew I needed more of it in my life. As a mother of a newborn at the time and a toddler now, yoga has given me that time to myself to center, find balance, and in turn be a better mother to my daughter. There are so many benefits of practicing yoga and a style of yoga for everyone; you just have to take the first step.
