I began practicing yoga 24 years ago to run better. Yoga poses improved my flexibility and prevented injury. To my surprise, I also became less reflexive when faced with strong emotions in my personal and professional interactions and better able to act with patience. 18 Years ago I started teaching flow and yin yoga as well as meditation and continue working with students of all ages and abilities. Stephanie Keach at the Asheville Yoga certified my teaching skills and I completed yin yoga training with Sarah Powers. I hold Reiki certification. Before teaching, I developed affordable housing and earned an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill.
