Yoga has taught me the power of letting go, and as a self-proclaimed Type A+ personality, that was a tough lesson to learn. I have come back to my mat throughout my life for various reasons - sometimes it was an emotional need and sometimes it was physical. When I committed to deepening my own physical practice last year through teacher training at Hot Asana with Virginia Gallagher, I had no idea that it would also alter my way of being. In addition to the 200 hour certification training, I’m also certified to teach Yin and I always have a healthy docket of training modules to bring more variety, complexity, and fun to my classes. My goal is always to bring your attention to the four corners of your own mat and leave the struggles and strife of the day on the other side of the door for later.
