My yoga journey has never been a straight line.

I found yoga almost by chance in 2010 while attending a class on a military installation in England. I remember thinking what a beautiful concept it was and knowing I wanted to go back. I only made it to a few more classes before moving back to the United States, but something stayed with me. Somewhere along the way, I knew I wanted to become a yoga teacher, even though I didn't yet understand why.

In 2012, I began practicing at Hot Asana, and over the years yoga became much more than movement for me. I remember during one particular outdoor Hot Asana class, when I settled into Savasana, I had this feeling that I was floating. In that moment, something clicked, and I thought: This is my place to release. This is where I don't have to give anything. This is where I can JUST BE. I knew then that I wanted to share that feeling with others.

I completed my 200-hour teacher training in 2018 and have continued learning and growing as a teacher ever since. My path into teaching has unfolded gradually over the years, with life, family, and other commitments shaping the pace, but my desire to share yoga has remained a steady presence. Yoga has become a place where I find the connection of the physical, mental, and spiritual parts of myself. I’ve seen firsthand how simply showing up on the mat can create space for healing, connection, and growth. Yoga has always been a place for me to breathe, release, and simply be. It is a feeling that, especially in the quiet of Savasana, can feel a lot like coming home.
