Erin Paradise
CYT 200
My journey in wellness began at the University of Maine, where I earned a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with a minor in Outdoor Education. As a collegiate downhill ski racer and outdoor program leader, I guided experiences in whitewater canoeing, backpacking, winter mountaineering, and skiing—experiences that help shape my connection to nature and movement.
That connection continued to evolve as I pursued a Master’s in Kinesiology, which sparked my interest in the intricacies of the human body and inspired me to study yoga and meditation. I earned my 200-hour yoga teacher certification in Falmouth, Maine, then moved to Asheville, North Carolina, where I became a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Reiki Practitioner.
I’ve continued to expand my toolkit with certifications in Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching, Breathwork and Meditation Instruction, Craniosacral Therapy, and licensure as a Chiropractic Assistant. I’m also a Registered Maine Guide in the discipline of sea kayaking—a beautiful blend of my love for the outdoors and guiding others.
Today, I run a massage therapy and wellness practice in Conway and host integrative retreats and gatherings that draw from multiple modalities to inspire connection and community. I believe in meeting people where they are and supporting their unique wellness journey through integrated care rooted in movement and nature.
