Chelsea King
E-RYT 500 and YACEP
After spending the past two years teaching, learning, and cultivating a lasting yoga community all along Florida's Emerald Coast, Chelsea King is excited to return home to Hot Asana. She brings with her thousands of hours of teaching experience, advanced training, continuing education, retreat leadership, workshops, and mentorship experiences that have helped her grow tremendously as both a student and teacher of yoga.
Chelsea is an E-RYT 500 and YACEP-certified yoga teacher with more than 2,000 hours of teaching experience and over 175 hours of continuing education. Her teaching background includes, but is not limited to, hot yoga, vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative yoga, aerial yoga, sound baths, workshops, and teacher training support.
What began as a personal practice in 2021 quickly became a lifelong calling. Nine months later, Chelsea completed her 200-hour teacher training through The Yoga Tree Okinawa after experiencing firsthand yoga's ability to help navigate life's challenges and the ever-changing nature of the mind, body, and nervous system.
Known for her warm, encouraging, and approachable teaching style, Chelsea strives to create a space where students feel welcome exactly as they are while being challenged to grow in meaningful ways. Through movement, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy, yoga has provided Chelsea with practical tools for navigating change, cultivating resilience, and working with the natural fluctuations of the mind rather than against them.
Nearly five years later, she encourages students to discover that a dedicated yoga practice is not simply something done on the mat, but a way of moving through the modern world with greater awareness, purpose, and gentle compassion for themselves and those around them.
