In today’s chaotic uncertain world, we could ALL use a practice that allows us to get out of our heads and into our bodies, to slow down, tune in, and just embrace the gratitude of being.
I have practiced Yoga for over fifteen years off and on, first embracing it as a way to just stretch. It wasn’t until I was stationed here that my practice deepened and became more consistent, evolving into something that transcends the physical body. I step onto my mat for a multitude of reasons, to maintain mobility, to get a good sweat on, to connect with my breath and give myself an hour (or 90 mins) to #transcendthebullshit!
My practice has been a centering force amidst the chaos of a medical retirement and transition back into the civilian world. Yoga continues to be a vital part of my healing- allowing a somatic experience of self acceptance. I use my time on the mat to just practice feeling good! I hope to share that same vibe through my teachings and allow you the space to connect back to yourself
