all bodies are beautiful.

all movement is beautiful.

all bodies in movement are beautiful.

Silence the inner critic, remove the mirror, and just move.

You are beauty in motion

I started practicing yoga at the age of 13 and became infatuated instantly, I wanted to know how it could create a space in my life that i had never felt before. a space where i felt so connected to myself and the world around me.

I went away to college and soon found that i was living a life expected of me rather than a life true to myself, i realized yoga had always been such an important part of my life and i knew thats what i wanted to do, teach and share my love of yoga.

The most beautiful part of yoga is that we constantly grow in it. Our practice is never perfect and that's what draws me in, theres always new ways of exploring unknown places in the body, I believe our practice blossoms in freedom.

I practice to find and unlock those hidden doors, to unravel, to discover those secret spaces where I am still holding on. The spaces where I feel too much and don't want to stay, the spaces where I can find beauty in discomfort. 99% of my physical practice isn't anything fancy, just playful exploratory movement, using the traditional shape as a guideline, then exploring the body and watching where the energy goes. Asking questions like what happens if i do this? or how does my body respond when I move in this way?

Yoga is a practice that is fully experiential and full experimental. The only way we "figure it out" is by trying, and retrying and learning and relearning. If there is a "goal" in this practice, it is to learn ourselves, and this in itself takes a lifetime.

Namaste friends, see you on the mat!
